Though this is not required.Check fuses, not visually but with a tester or meter. Tester will light on back of fuse when fuse is open (ignition on). Meter should either show "0VDC", or "battery voltage" when checking both fuse tabs on the back side of the fuse to ground. So if you had swapped 2&3 and still had an issue with 3, then look at the wire or plug.
